Biography of Letsie III
Letsie III, the 4th King of Lesotho since February 7, 1996, was born on July 17, 1963, in Morija.

He is the youngest son of the late King Moshoeshoe II and Queen Mother 'Mamohato Bereng Seeiso. After his birth, he was baptized according to Catholic traditions and was given the name David.
Education and Early Life
Letsie III received his education at Iketsetseng Private School in his hometown from 1968.
After completing five grades, he moved to England, where he initially attended Roman Catholic School and then St. Benedictine School. In 1977, Letsie enrolled in his father's alma mater, Ampleforth College, where he obtained his first higher education.
Upon returning to Lesotho, he continued his studies at the National University of Lesotho, earning a Bachelor of Arts
