Bagha Jatin (lit.
Tiger Jatin; pronounced [ˈbaɡʰa ˈd͡ʒot̪in]) or Baghajatin, born Jatindranath Mukherjee (pronounced [ˈd͡ʒot̪ind̪roˌnatʰ ˈmukʰoˌpaddʰaj]); 7 December – 10 September ) was an Indian independence activist.
He was one of the principal leaders of the Jugantar party that was the central association of revolutionary independence activists in Bengal.
Early life
Jatin was born in a Brahmin family to Sharatshashi and Umeshchandra Mukherjee in Kayagram, a vil
