Sulagna Chatterjee is an Indian screenwriter and director based in Mumbai. She is known for her work in Feels like ishq streaming on Netflix and Firsts Season 3 by Dice Media.^[1]

Early Life

Chatterjee born, brought up in Kolkata studied BMM from Mumbai.

She worked with ex-Balaji Telefilms fame Nivedita Basu’s production house at the start of her career.^[2] She is one of the few openly queer screenwriters in India right now.^[3]

Career

She has written for shows on ALTBalaji, The Verdict and Code M.

Chatterjee has other credits include Ghar sa Yummy for Zee TV, India on a Plate for India Times and Lost Recipes for Epic Channel.^[4][5][6]

In 2020, she wrote Firsts season 3 which was a queer love story that talks about acceptance and coming together.

Directed by Bharat Misra, it was released on Instagram as 20 episodes of one-minute each.^[7]
